The Club
The club was founded in the 1980's originally at the old Leyton Baths (now a Tesco's) before relocating to its present site in Walthamstow , East London during the 1990's.
The Clubs founder and chief instructor is Sensei Steve Blackett 8th Dan. Sensei Blackett has over 40 years Martial Arts experience.
We are affiliated to the AMA, the UK's largest Martial Arts Associations. All our instructors are AMA insured & CRB checked.
The club is part of the long standing Connelly Ju Jitsu Federation founded by Soke Del Connelly 10th Dan. Soke Connelly is one the UK's highest ranked Ju Jitsu instructors, has taught Ju Jitsu all over Europe and is a regular guest instructor at our club.
Classes
Mondays: Juniors (6 to 14 years) 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Seniors 7.30pm - 9.30pm
Thursday: Seniors only 7.30pm - 9.30pm

Community
The club has been involved in many Community initiatives over the years including running youth training nights in partnership with Toynbee Housing, providing Ju Jitsu taster sessions for local schools, giving martial arts demos at fetes, open days, Housing Assc. events and other groups. We have also taught self defense classes for the local authority and women only groups.
